Mentor College, is a not-for-profit educational institution founded in 1969 whose purpose to teach skills that will allow each students to obtain international employment.

For more than 30 years Mentor College has been preparing students for International employment in the cruise line industries in America, Europe and Asia in the food, beverage and housekeeping departments of international hotels, resorts and restaurants.
the College was recently recognized by the Indonesian education department as the best prepatory school in the province of Central Java for instruction in English conversation and International Marine Hotel Training.

COURSES

PROGRAMS OF INSTRUCTION
Mentor College currently offers the following two programs of instruction:

• Practical English Conversation
Because a familiarity with practical English is required of everyone who wishes to obtain employment in the international entertainment and hotel industry, the college offers three levels of English instruction: Conversation, Speech and Discussion.
Each level includes speech and pronunciation, structure, conversation, diction, public speaking, reading and listening comprehension, and is concluded by an oral and written examination.
• International Marine Hotel Training

The courses of instruction for the international Marine Hotel Training program cover a knowledge of food, beverage and bar service, food product, housekeeping and ship information.

PLACEMENT

The college provides placement services for it's graduates. It is proud of it's graduates achievements as employers of Princess Cruise Lines, Holland America Lines, Carnival Cruise Lines, Costa Cruise Lines, Mediterranean Shipping Company Cruise Lines, Star Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise Lines, Apollo Cruise Lines , Yachts and some river cruise companies.

ADMISSIONS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Qualify for admission to Mentor College an applicant must be a high school graduate and must submit a completed Application Form to the Admissions Office.
An oral and written placement test in English is required of all students. Students must be in good health. The maximum age for a student is 32, with a minimal height of 165 cm (male) and 160 cm (female).
Mail the Application Form along with a coy of your high school diploma and three copies of a 4” x 6” photograph of yourself, with blue background and wearing a tie, to the Admissions Office at Mentor College.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

The Application Form for admission to Mentor College may be mailed to the college. Requests for applications may be made by email.
